Public Relations
In our tireless pursuit of positive media exposure, Global TV Concepts eschews the conventional and pursues creative possibilities. Central to that is public relations. The time-honored marketing strategy plays a pivotal role in promoting our products to the mainstream marketplace.
One example: Creation of our world-record cupcake. Weighing in at a whopping 1,315 pounds, the confection showcased the Big Top®Cupcake® – and topped the scales in product promotions. The effort landed the record-breaking baked good on the Times Square JumboTron and in the pages of Guinness Book of World Records – and helped drive Big Top Cupcake’s 2 million sales to date.
Another example of a record-breaking promotion – and a crowd-pleasing contest – was the Twin Cut® Power Saw® Giveaway and Father’s Day Competition on Facebook. The effort drove social media trends, spurred traditional media interest – and created invaluable and lasting media impressions.
We’re passionate in the pursuit of placement. In the 2010 movie, “Father of Invention,” starring Kevin Spacey, Camille Belle, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville and John Stamos, Global TV’s patented Air Cutter® hair trimmer held a coveted role with Spacey’s character as the once-heralded inventor and former infomercial king worked to regain his market leadership.
Record-breaking. Crowd-pleasing. Move-making. How many Direct Response Marketing companies can say that about their products?
Yet, public relations and product placement aren’t enough. At Global TV Concepts, we also believe Industry Stewardship and Community Philanthropy are important to a company’s general goodwill. We’re a long-time and involved member of the Electronic Retailers Association. Our founder – Laurie Braden – is an ardent supporter of and committee member for Food for the Poor. America’s largest international relief and development organization, it feeds millions of people internationally. Her committee helped organize and raise funds following 2010 Haiti earthquake. Additionally, Global TV Concepts helped to purchase three houses for Haitians left homeless after the disaster. Together, Laurie and the committee, together, continue their focus to raise money for the organization and help fund their mission for Saving Lives . . . Transforming Communities . . . and Renewing Hope.
Global TV Concepts also supports events at Miami Children’s Hospital and other area philanthropic and charitable organizations.
